We have received reports of third parties contacting businesses and members listed in the Award Winners Registry for commercial purposes, promoting sales packages purported as "Business Awards". Some businesses have also reported receiving unsolicited WhatsApp messages claiming that they have been “selected” for these "Business Awards".

Please note that ATC do not issue award invitations via messaging platforms such as WhatsApp. We strongly advise businesses to exercise caution, verify the sender’s identity, and refrain from sharing personal, business or financial information with unknown parties.

Entry & Application Requirements

This section provides an overview of the entry criteria which an individual is required to fulfil for submission of an application under the Singapore 40 Under 40 Business Leaders Award. Applicants will be subjected to assessment, evaluation and final judging based on the judging criteria.

The following requirements are to be fulfilled to be considered an eligibility individual to be considered under the Singapore 40 Under 40 Business Leaders:

  1. The nominee is aged 40 or under in the year 2026 (ie: Born in or after 1986).
  2. The nominee must be a resident in Singapore.
  3. The nominee must be the keyman or C-Level personnel of a Company with its headquarter based in Singapore. [ie: Chief Executive Officer of a Company]
  4. The company or business must be a registered entity under ACRA with a valid Unique Entity Number (UEN). All entity types are accepted. including but not limited to Sole Proprietorship, Private Limited Company, Limited Liability Partnership
  5. The company must have at least 30% local [Singaporean] shareholding.
  6. The company or business must be incorporated and commenced operations for at least five (05) years.
  7. The nominee must be the key driver of the company or business for at least three (03) years.
  8. The company or business have achieved a minimum of Singapore Dollars Three Million (S$ 3 million) revenue in its immediate preceding financial year.
  9. The nominee has made significant contribution to the industry and communities.
  10. The company or business and nominee must not be placed under any watch list, blacklisted and/or being barred from any statutory boards, agencies and/or organisations.

Important Note:
Application for the Singapore 40 Under 40 Business Leaders is to be submitted via the eApplication Portal listed on ATC's website. No other form of submission of application is accepted.

This eligibility and application criteria serves as a guidelines for a prospective nominee to determine his/her eligibility for application. Upon submission of application, the nominee will be required to complete the application questionnaire (provided through the BizPortal), together with two endorsers in support of his/her application.
